OBJECTIVE

The Master in European Contract, Business, and Financial Law is an Englishtaught postgraduate course aimed at preparing legal professionals and experts for international careers in the fields of contract law, commercial law and financial markets law.
The teaching methods, along with a strong international approach, are intended to train legal professionals and provide them with all the skills needed for the purpose of competing in an evolving international regulatory environment.
The programme is organized and taught according to a twofold approach.
On the one hand, students will be provided with the necessary theoretical framework, under a comparative perspective of the main topics on contracts, business law and financial markets law. On the other hand, they will be offered classes dedicated to practical cases and issues.
The study of case law as well as of the main practical issues related to the legal professions are to be regarded as a core element of the master’s programme, being this latter fully oriented to deliver to students the experience of university professors and important professionals.
At the end of the course, students will be given the chance to apply for internships in leading Italian and international law firms, as well as in legal departments of major companies.
The University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’ has also entered into an agreement with the Temple Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia (USA) which will enable students wishing to continue their studies to apply for an LLM programme.
